Toowoomba Royal Show {2017}

Life is a beautiful ride.
At the end of last month the 4 of us attended the Toowoomba Royal Show.
We were undecided if we should attend as that was the week we had lots of rain from Cyclone Debbie.  But on the Friday afternoon we thought, what the heck let's go!
We arrived around 5pm & left just before 9pm - which was late enough for us considering both kids are normally in bed by 6/7pm!
I love going to the show for many reasons - one of them being for the endless amount of colourful things to photograph & all the bright lights, at night it feels a bit magical.
This was Tommy's first time & he was snuggled up in the baby carrier, LuLu & Trent had so much fun going on dodgem cars & playing sideshow games. (I made sure to buy a Bertie Beetle show bag!)
We enjoyed dinner in the members area of the pavilion - for $30 we were able to get 2 good sized roast beef meals with veggies & gravy and we shared with LuLu. (We found this a much better alternative than having a dinner of just carnie cuisine  That being said we still got a bucket of chips to share - because when in Rome! To access the members area, if you are not a member - you just make a donation.) *Perks of eating in this area was we could sit inside, watch the night time entertainment from our table and Trent & I could enjoy a drink.
And now for the photos... Because the show is full of countless things to photograph...
Standing in absolute awe of the show - LuLu was out of her mind excited!
2 tips for surviving the show - get a back pack Dad can carry instead of a nappy bag & offer shoulder rides when little feet get sore.
Fireworks - after this we headed home to bed.
